One way to immigrate to Canada is through the Federal Skilled Trades Program. It is a scheme that helps those who don’t need visas to travel to the country to look for job.
Although a participant in the Federal Skilled Trades Program may also be eligible for the Federal Skilled Workers Program, they typically do not reach the required 400 Express Entry points.
Trades programmes include jobs in the following fields:
Industrial, electrical, and construction trade
Maintenance and equipment operations
Technical works in natural resources, agriculture
Production related to processing, manufacturing
Service Supervisors
Central control operators, cooks, butchers, and bakers.
Requirements to access this integration program:
The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is specifically for people who want to become permanent residents of Canada and who meet the standards for qualifying occupational skills in demand in Canada.
How is this immigration policy implemented?
Unlike the Skilled Worker Program, you only need to complete the aforementioned standards to be eligible. You do not need to achieve a score for the category. This appears unclear since even while they need a certain score to be invited to complete the procedure, the score is actually for the processing system, not the immigrant category.
